EUTERPE CONCERT ~ TUESDAY, AUGUST 9TH ~ 6PM

Date: August 9th
Time: 6pm
Location: Euterpe Farms - 587 S Rice Rd, Ojai

EVENT DETAILS:

EUTERPE FARMS AUGUST CONCERT

Happy August...long days bring comfortable evenings with a late pink moment to our monthly gatherings.

This month we bring three acts to the Euterpe stage. Smitty and Julija will appear for the only time this season, with music from our new album, "Made In Ojai." Signed CDS will be available. Dave will join us on bass.

But first, a new act to open, so don't be late. Gregg Myers..."Peasant Boy Gregg," has joined our Ojai Songwriters Anonymous Group, so we've been watching him craft beautiful, original music "in the kitchen!". I went to hear his show in Santa Barbara last week, and I know you'll love his hip, jazzy sound.

And back by popular demand (mine!) is our pal Russ Brunelli. Original, grindy and gritty songwriting..,I hear Tom Waits and Louis Armstrong, but then he pulls out his ukulele and harmonica and I'm happily confused! One of a kind!

Doors open at 6pm, so DO NOT BE LATE because you'll want to hear every lick from Gregg. .a rare concert experience outdoors under the oaks at the Euterpe Tienda, approx address 587 Rice Rd. For the future, the second Tuesday of each month, April - October.

The honor-bar will be open as in the past. Free windmill-raised mineral water!

We're really pleased to announce that this month's featured foodie is once again, Chef Randy Graham - Ojai's celebrated vegetarian author. Stay tuned for the menu...

We make this happen with your support. These events are "semi-private"...meaning if you're reading this and want to be part of it, you're invited. A donation of $10 per person is suggested...all the donations go to our featured musical guests.

It seems to be working...you keep coming, and the finest musicians are clambering to stand before you and share their art.

We'll have some narrow-leaf milkweed plants available for purchase. This perrenial Ojai native plant is SO important for our native population of monarch butterflies. Draught tolerant and it attracts a cool assortment of nectar-loving insects and birds. All grown from Ojai native seeds.

A caution to families...please bring the kiddies IF you can keep your eyes on them. This is a working farm along a busy street.

Please RSVP so we can plan to make you comfortable.

Notes:
no restrooms
I provide seating for approximately 45, but you are welcome to bring a chair or blanket and sit in the field.
Park along the street and watch for cars!
Bring your camera!
